On 07 January, Universum International College successfully delivered a nano-course on Telehealth as part of the course “Research Methods in Nursing” within the Nursing Bachelor programme. This pilot nano-course aimed to strengthen students’ competencies in modern healthcare delivery by covering the following key areas:
- Understanding the principles, benefits, and limitations of telehealth
- Exploring patient–provider communication in digital environments
- Gaining hands-on experience with telecommunication tools and digital platforms
- Discussing legal, regulatory, and governance aspects of telehealth systems
- Practising simulated telehealth consultations and reflecting on real-life challenges

The session was led by Prof. Besmir Hyseni and was supported by evidence-based resources from the World Health Organization and leading academic literature, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes and relevance to current healthcare practice. We extend our sincere thanks to all students and colleagues who contributed to the success of this nano-course and demonstrated great enthusiasm for innovative approaches in nursing education.
Through the NURIC project, UNIVERSUM continues to build sustainable, forward-looking learning environments that prepare students to meet the challenges of modern healthcare systems.
