Universum International College Showcases “NURIC Info Day” During International Staff Week 2026

From 4 to 8 May 2026, Universum International College successfully hosted its International Staff Week, welcoming representatives from partner universities in Portugal, Poland, Turkey, Spain, Germany, Greece, and Hungary. The week served as an important platform for academic exchange, networking, and the presentation of innovative projects and best practices in higher education.

As part of the program, Universum organized a dedicated Info Day for the NURIC (Nursing Informatics Competencies) project. The event brought together international guests, academic staff, and healthcare educators to present the key achievements and long-term impact of the project.

During the Info Day, participants learned how NURIC has supported the modernization of the Nursing curriculum through the integration of Nursing Informatics, digital health, artificial intelligence, and telehealth. The project has strengthened the digital competencies of both students and educators, ensuring that future nurses are better prepared to work in increasingly technology-driven healthcare environments.

The NURIC project has also contributed to the establishment of sustainable educational resources and institutional capacities that will continue to benefit nursing education in Kosovo and beyond.

Through initiatives such as International Staff Week and the NURIC Info Day, Universum International College reaffirms its commitment to innovation, international collaboration, and excellence in healthcare education.
